Where to Stay
There are plenty of hotels to choose from in the Austin area.
We recommend staying downtown or on the east side for closest proximity to the Long Time.
Getting there
The closest airport is Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), approximately 20 minutes from downtown Austin.
The Hootenanny venue is 24 minutes from downtown Austin. Uber, Fetii, Lyft, and taxis are all available and easily accessible.
Ridesharing to The Long Time
We suggest that anyone not attending the ceremony organize a Fetii with their party crew. Fetiis can be reserved in advance for both drop off and pick up. Vehicles range from sprinter vans to charter buses.
If planning ahead or party buses aren’t your thing, Uber or Lyft are both available and easy to book. Parking is available on site, but if you plan to drink, please do not drive.
Transportation will be provided for family members and wedding party members who are invited to the ceremony. Details will be provided to both parties.

March is our favorite month—and it’s not just because we are both Pisces born one year and a day apart. It’s the time of Texas wildflowers, SXSW, and the end of a very short Texas winter.
